This was a fantastic tour and the information backed by physical visual aids really set home what our military went and continues to go through for our freedoms. I recommend anyone thinking of going on this tour to stop thinking about it do it.

We’ve visited the USS Midway Museum during the July 4th Weekend. Paid $26 each person online, and went into the museum promptly. You’re able to check out the sailor bunkers, control room, see the flight deck. There were retired sailors who were stationed on the USS Midway, who would provide you with more info during the tour. There is also a Café and gift shop that you can visit before exiting the museum. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in San Diego.

We didn’t give ourselves enough time. If you like to see everything, and listen to each veteran speaker, you should allow yourself more than the 2-4 hours that was suggested. Oh, and you don’t have to have earbuds. The thingy that they give you for the self-guided audio tour can be hung around your neck and then held up to your ear.
