Aquarium of the Pacific

When you arrive at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, about 25 miles (40 km) south of Los Angeles, go straight to the gate with your general admission ticket. Pick up your guide book, and start exploring! Your general admission gives you access to all of the aquarium’s galleries and exhibits, which focus on the creatures and environment of the Pacific Ocean. Discover sunny Southern California and Baja, the frigid waters of the Northern Pacific, and the colorful reefs of the Tropical Pacific. First experience at Aquarium of the Pacific. This was a bucket list for our family that was long over do. Entrance was so easy and our expectations were met.

I officially became a “senior” citizen when visiting the Aquarium yesterday. I’ve lived in CA my whole life & had never been to this magnificent place. We loved seeing all of the amazing animals & also got a kick out of the little kids.

We are so fortunate to have such an amazing aquarium here in Long Beach. Not sure with the lady selling the nectar at the parent exhibit wouldn’t run out of nectar right when my daughter and I get to the front of the line every time. I can also recommend that the aquarium reach out to the Long Beach Police Department about aggressive driver is cutting into the line to get into the parking structure. But I will be back!
