Overview

On this four-hour walking tour, you'll visit four different breweries. You'll begin with a Brewing 101 lesson, where you'll go behind the scenes to learn the art and science of the craft. Then a guided beer tasting at every stop will give you the opportunity to sample the breweries' signature beers and seasonal selections. You'll also have time to order a pint or a bite to eat at each location before we move to the next brewery. And as you walk from one brewery to the next, you'll hear about the fascinating history of Chattanooga and its landmarks.

Your guide is a 40-year resident of Chattanooga and the co-founder of ChattaBrew Tour, a bus tour of the city's breweries. She has traveled to more than 100 countries on all seven continents, tasting beers at every stop along the way. Her co-host has been part of Chattanooga's beer scene for nearly 20 years. A devout beer lover, he spends his free time touring breweries across the country and learning more about the art and science of beer.

is a great way to learn about a City. Barry was great. He took his time to answer our questions and since he knows the owners, he got us backroom tours of the distilleries. PLUS, Barry is very personable. He makes you feel comfortable.

Do you remember on "Cheers" how everyone knew Norm? Well, everyone knows Barry. The tour was very relaxed and very enjoyable. At the Terminal Brewhouse and at the Wandalinger Brewing Company, we got a "back room" tour of how beer is. Several times, people would ask Barry how they could sign up for his tour. Barry is from Chattanooga and you can tell he loves this city. Not only was he a great guide, he made you feel so "at home" and comfortable. After the tour, he gave us his recommendations for some good restaurants.
