Overview

On this four-hour walking tour, you'll visit four different breweries. You'll begin with a Brewing 101 lesson, where you'll go behind the scenes to learn the art and science of the craft. Then a guided beer tasting at every stop will give you the opportunity to sample the breweries' signature beers and seasonal selections. You'll also have time to order a pint or a bite to eat at each location before we move to the next brewery. And as you walk from one brewery to the next, you'll hear about the fascinating history of Chattanooga and its landmarks.

Your guide is a 40-year resident of Chattanooga and the co-founder of ChattaBrew Tour, a bus tour of the city's breweries. She has traveled to more than 100 countries on all seven continents, tasting beers at every stop along the way. Her co-host has been part of Chattanooga's beer scene for nearly 20 years. A devout beer lover, he spends his free time touring breweries across the country and learning more about the art and science of beer.

nice tour. our guide Barry was very friendly and answered questions honestly. Got to meet 2 very nice gentlemen and had some really good conversation as we got to try several local brews, as it was just them and me and my wife. Visited four breweries and had some good tastings a few a little different. Overall a good way to spend an afternoon in Chattanooga.

The tour was the best 4 hours we had in Chattanooga! We were able to experience each brewery while meeting others on our tour. By the end of the tour, we were all planning to attend one of the couples weddings in November! Great experience overall and will be doing it again next time I am in Chattanooga.

What made the tour great for us was our tour guide, Barry Matthew's. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and welcomed any and all questions. Barry also gave us many choices on the tour. When stopping at the breweries, Barry would sit and talk with us as we tried different craft beers. He even gave us time to get a quick bit to eat at Naked River Brewery. We loved listening about the history of the city while walking to each brewery and the history of each of the breweries.
