Small Group Antelope Canyon Day Trip from Phoenix

Overview
Hidden for centuries beneath Native soil, nature has built a cathedral for herself: a slot canyon still unsurpassed in its beauty, the perfect symphony of sand, stone and light, layered marble colored rock that is distinctly unique. After exploring Antelope Canyon you will continue on your journey and visit Horseshoe Bend. A short hike takes you to the most captivating curve the Colorado River has carved out on his 1400 mile journey from the Rocky Mountains to the Gulf of California. At this sheer 1000ft drop, framed by massive canyon walls, the emerald green sparkly reflections of this ancient stream will surely take your breath away.

I asked about the best hotel location and the recommended hotel was in the ghetto. All other attendees stayed in good hotels

Decided to take the tour to antelope canyon and horseshoe bend. Good choice as this company gives flexibility and makes detours and stops along the way to see more sights. The guide had a sense of humor and talks a lot but it made the excursion less boring. The costs include admission to the canyon and bend and also included a lunch. So you only need small pocket change for spending money. Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Phoenix or Scottsdale. Itā€™s about a 5 hour drive there and a 5 hour drive back so be prepared for a long trip.

Thank you for joining us to the surreal slot canyons of Northern Arizona! We're glad that you enjoyed yourself around good company and great stops. Our guides enjoy the Southwest and like to have fun out there on the road. The day is quote long, but it sounds like our guides were able to make that long day worthwhile and enjoyable for you. :) We hope that we see you again sometime soon! We've got plenty more Southwest destinations to show off. You got the longest day out of the way!

Went on the lower canyon tour. Your guide will take around 10 people at a time. They will guide you thru the canyon and explain where you can take the best photos. They will also help with your camera or phone settings, to get the best picture. The guides are very knowledgeable. Be prepared to walk up and down multiple flights of ladders and steps. It's worth it . You will be amazed at the beauty of the antslope canyon. Wear good walking or hiking shoes, it's Rocky and dusty.
