Small Group Antelope Canyon Day Trip from Phoenix

Overview
Hidden for centuries beneath Native soil, nature has built a cathedral for herself: a slot canyon still unsurpassed in its beauty, the perfect symphony of sand, stone and light, layered marble colored rock that is distinctly unique. In additional exploring Antelope Canyon with a Navajo guide, you will continue on your journey and visit Horseshoe Bend. A short hike takes you to the most captivating curve the Colorado River has carved out on his 1400 mile journey from the Rocky Mountains to the Gulf of California. At this sheer 1000ft drop, framed by massive canyon walls, the emerald green sparkly reflections of this ancient stream will surely take your breath away. Enjoy a local eatery in Page as well as a Navajo Trading Post along the day's route!

Our guide, Mark, was amazing the whole tour. He had all sorts of interesting information and was able to answer questions we had about what we were seeing and so on. He is extremely pleasant, funny and very patient. We went through Flagstaff after departing Phoenix and travelled north to Antelope Canyon, before proceeding on to Horseshoe Bend. The views were all completely worth it and so was every minute of the long day. I was based near PHX airport and was the first pickup at 4 am, and last drop off at close to 9 pm. however, the minibus we travelled in was good seat wise and also we were kept well fed and hydrated throughout the entire journey. Food options were also available at some of the stops. Without hesitation I would recommend this for a tour company!! I’m coming back to do other tours with them for sure!

Hello there! The Antelope Canyon day tour is quite the worthwhile tour indeed! Our guides truly set the experience unlike any other day trip to any of our locations, let alone one as hefty as a trip up to Page! We appreciate the kind words and we want to thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience with DETOURS! We have plenty more locations to show you in the Southwest and we promise they won't be as long as this one. (But even if they were, we would make it worthwhile!)

Antelope Canyon is by far one of the most stunning, surreal, and awe-inspiring locations here in the Southwest. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to take you there! It certainly is a must see, and our guides know that seeing that beautiful canyon is only half the experience! The knowledge, history, and culture the guide provides throughout the day truly set this experience beyond the stars. Glad to know we were able to deliver that for you! Thank you so much for your review and kind words, we hope to see you again very soon! we have plenty more of the Southwest to share with you. :)

Short and sweet: The sites you visit are touristy and busy, so what makes the difference is the guide. Our guide's name was Michael and he was knowledgeable about the culture, flora and fauna, history and everything else you could possibly be interested in. He made the difference and he made it worth it. Go!
