Small Group Antelope Canyon Day Trip from Phoenix

Overview
Hidden for centuries beneath Native soil, nature has built a cathedral for herself: a slot canyon still unsurpassed in its beauty, the perfect symphony of sand, stone and light, layered marble colored rock that is distinctly unique. In additional exploring Antelope Canyon with a Navajo guide, you will continue on your journey and visit Horseshoe Bend. A short hike takes you to the most captivating curve the Colorado River has carved out on his 1400 mile journey from the Rocky Mountains to the Gulf of California. At this sheer 1000ft drop, framed by massive canyon walls, the emerald green sparkly reflections of this ancient stream will surely take your breath away. Enjoy a local eatery in Page as well as a Navajo Trading Post along the day's route!

Mark led our tour of 12 up from Phoenix through Flagstaff and on to Antelope Canyon. His description of the sites and places were stopped made for a great day trip. We’re signing up for another tour tomorrow. This time Sedona.

Detours appears to be the only company running this tour out of Phoenix/Scottsdale area. If you are up for a long day - get ready for 17-18 hr trip, with a 4am departure - do it! It will blow you away. Antelope Canyon is something out of this world. The tour offers access to the Lower Antelope, which has beautiful light throughout the day, and amazing formations that change with every single step for its length of more than a mile. The tour is very well designed. It is limited to 12 people to keep it small and intimate. The van in which we traveled was very comfortable, with upgraded leather chairs. There were plenty of snacks and water bottles on board for the entire duration of the trip, and the stops were well planned. The guide, Dan, provided very useful information along the way. I do want to give special thanks to Jeff, the owner, who went above and beyond to accommodate me. I was visiting on a tight schedule and the tour was completely booked on the only day I had available. Jeff got personally involved in making arrangements so I can join the tour. Many thanks for allowing me to have this extraordinary experience!

Wow! Thanks for giving us this galactic review! Antelope Canyon is hands down one of the most surreal locations in the Arizona area. We cannot recommend it enough to all of our guests, and we're glad you got the chance to experience the beautiful slot canyon over in Page. The day is long but we agree, it is well worth it! Dan is one of our expertise Antelope guides as well. We're glad that you got to experience your day with him. Jeff is a magician when it comes to getting the stars to align - we're just delighted we were able to grant you this experience. Thank you again for the ever so kind words. We hope to see you again soon, we've got plenty more of the Southwest to show you!
