Really long day but well covered, well informed and run smoothly! My only recommendation would be that after the stargazing is done, the mic goes off and people get some time to rest. A great day overall! Thank you!!

We had a limited time on the big island, so I booked the Twilight Volcano and Stargazing Tour for the family to make the best use of our time. The pickup at the hotel was on time. We did not have to drive to a location, this was very convenient. The tour was 13 hours and worth every hour. DREW, our tour guide, appeared to speak the entire time giving valuable information along the way. Very informative and learned a lot. The highlight for me personally was the volcano excursion which is a bucket list item. There is a lot to see and do, the tour focused on the key areas given the limited time. Highly recommend folks to come back on their own to explore the National Volcano Park for the full experience. Dinner was held a cute at a local place and when you are hungry everything tastes good. Surprisingly, the food was delicious, and the food portions was large. It was the tour group lucky night; news came in the volcano started to erupt. DREW, our tour guide, modified the schedule and he took the group back to the National Volcanic Park!! WOW, seeing an active volcano at a safe distance was the highlight for me. At that point, every penny spent on the tour was worth it. Afterwards, the tour continued for the stargazing portion. It was very late and cold but for those stargazers, the experience was wonderful. The stars looked so close and clear in the night that you could touch the stars. Phew, it was lot to cover in one day, but for us with a limited time, it was perfect. If you are more interested in the volcanos or stargazing, the tour company also provided tours specifically for those. If you can, ask DREW as the tour guide for the full experience. LOL we never saw anyone speak the entire time.
