Your passionate guide will escort you to famous restaurants in the French Quarter, including a few that are commonly mentioned in cookbooks. Learn about the rich legacy of fine food in the French Quarter and which hotspots to check out on your own later; you can even work with your guide to customize the tour to your interests. By the end of the tour, you’ll have a full belly and a better understanding of the fundamental dishes that make up New Orleans cuisine.

Susan was a wonderful tour guide, weaving history and food together. We had both a sampling of New Orleans culinary traditions and the history behind them, coupled with an enjoyable stroll through the French Quarter. It was a delightful way to spend a morning.

Great Tour! Our guide Elizabeth was very knowledgeable in the history of the French Quarter and its food. We discovered the history and origins of many cocktails and local dishes. The walking tour and history of the town and its architecture was interesting and the food and cocktails were delicious. It was a great way to start our vacation. We liked it so much we went back the next evening for char grilled oysters and cocktails! I have already made the brisket recipe with horseradish sauce - delicious. Definitely recommend.

We had Craig as our tour guide and he was really cool! Lots of exciting information, and even answered some "outside the norm" questions confidently and informatively. Very pleasant and funny. The selected restaurants were pretty, the quality of the food and drinks was fabulous and delicious. The portions were a good size (especially the Muffuletta!) and gave an insight into the local, very diverse cuisine influenced by different cultures. A little more time at the individual stops would have been nice (we had such great conversations with the "crew"!), and Craig would have loved to sit with us more. We would have liked to have spoken to him more. Maybe 4 hours instead of 3 would be better? Nevertheless, it was a really great experience, we would book it again at any time and we really enjoyed it and had a lot of fun! Thank you very much!
