Our most diverse Grand Canyon tour, blends remarkable ruins, dramatic lava fields, majestic volcanoes and the magnificent Grand Canyon. Guests will appreciate riding in a comfortable touring van, usually with a group size of no more than 10 guests total. In the morning you will experience Wupatki and Sunset Crater Volcano National Monuments. After lunch on the Navajo Nation, get amazing views from the East and South Rims of the Grand Canyon and still have time and flexibility to explore in the afternoon.

Al was a great tour guide. He gave us non-stop information and kept us entertained the entire trip! Only negatives to report is the lunch at Navajo Trading wasn't that great so just know that before you go; and it also takes a bit of time to pick everyone up and drop them off - it would be better if there was a central meeting point to save this time.

For what we paid we were given an amazing experience! Andrea C., our driver and guide, was so pleasant and knowledgeable, from the make up of all the beautiful rock formations we saw along the way to Native American history and even extinct volcanoes! We were picked up at our resort at 7am and returned around 5:30, and the timing of everything worked out well. Our visit to the Grand Canyon lasted a few hours and we even had about an hour to do what we wanted, so we hiked the Rim Trail. So glad we did! My only (small ) regret is that we didn't stop in the volcanic area for a picture or two - it reminded us all of Hawaii! Other than that we highly recommend this tour! * Just a little confused - - I booked the trip thru Viator but Andrea's biz card references "Great Venture Tours".
