We booked this tour not knowing what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised! Cat was our driver and guide. She worked hard to make sure we had a good time.

Our entire day was wonderful. Visit to a lava field - who knew?- terrific Navajo-based lunch and then free time visiting the South rim of Grand Canyon. Guide Ronald, a Hopi elder, imparted more history than I have ever read in a textbook Wonderful day, awesome vistas and great Western background information.

My friends and I took the Ultimate Canyon Day trip today from Sedona. I canā€™t say enough about our tour guide, Ronald. He is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of geology, history and Native American culture. He is attentive to each passenger on the trip and very personable. The first stop at the Sunset Crater was incredible. You clearly see the lava flow and are able to walk around the area. None of our group knew that there were volcanoes in Arizona. We had great views of Sunset Crater and other craters in the vicinity. Wupatki National Monument is extremely well preserved. We learned so much about the lives of the native Americans who lived in these dwellings. Lunch was very good and the portions were huge. The restaurant has a very nice dining room and good service. The Grand Canyon (of course) is incredibly beautiful. This tour takes you to three different viewing areas. Along the way Ronald is available to point out interesting formations. I was very happy that I chose the Ultimate Tour. I would recommend it highly to anyone visiting this region.
