So be prepared, this is an ALL DAY trip. Our host Ty picked us up at our hotel in Sedona at 7:30 am and we were back at 7 pm. Ty was a fabulous guide. Heā€™s incredibly knowledgeable on the area whether itā€™s the history, wildlife, geology, trails and excursions. We were provided water for the trip and we stopped MULTIPLE times. We were shown the absolute best areas with ease. We would have never seen what we did had we taken this on ourselves. There is nothing physically taxing about the trip. The trip included some shopping as well and I thought the lunch offered was delicious. My only small suggestion is maybe a better vehicle. You are in the little van for a long time and more comfortable seats would have been a huge bonus. But if you get the chance to experience any excursion with this host (Ty) take it! Very memorable trip. Thanks Ty!

Where do I begin? Our tour guide was Ronald Wadsworth, a Hopi spokesperson for his tribe. Ronald is a fabulous guide. He shared with us the Hopi culture and answered any questions we had on the subject. My son is fascinated with volcanoes, and this tour included the lava lake near Flagstaff. We made several stops on the way to the our final Grand Canyon stop (try the Navajo Taco at Cameron Trading Post!) - all with amazing views of the Grand Canyon. We spent a great day with several friendly tourists exploring one of the wonders of the world - it doesn't get much better than that!

We were picked up from our hotel in flagstaff at 8:25 and got straight on the road! It was a small group of 12 on our tour and our guide was JR! We started at the Sunset Crater which is a volcanic and lava site! Next was the Wupatki ruins, an ancient Indian village. Both were interesting & good to see. Next was lunch at Cameronā€™s trading post for lunch. A traditional Navajo place, I would recommend getting one of the native Navajo dishes, all looked delicious! Finally we reached the Grand Canyon, we stopped at both the east and south rim as well as the bright Angel trail! It was absolutely amazing to see the Canyon. The tour was good and I would recommend it, there is a lot of driving to and from places so a lot of time spent in the bus! JR was very knowledgable, some of his stories were not relevant to the tour but he was nice enough!
