Grand Canyon National Park
This Grand Canyon tour offers some of the most stunning scenery on Earth. It’s the only tour in Las Vegas that takes you out to Hopi Point, the highest and most scenic point at Grand Canyon. Only Grand Canyon shuttle buses operated in this secluded part of Grand Canyon, where the edge of earth touches the faint, blue sky. We begin our walk at Bright Angel Lodge and follow the upper rim trail to Hopi Point. The most amazing part of this walk is that each lookout point gets better and better until we arrive at the most stunning of them all, Hopi Point. The South Rim is 1,000 feet lower than the North Rim so the Grand Canyon looks like a screen drop against the sky. It’s absolutely stunning and surreal and will keep you breathless throughout the walk. The best part about walking is that we’re able to feel the peace and surrealness of the Grand Canyon wisp around us. Grand Adventures is the only tour operator to offer such a cool walking tour and experience!

We were picked up over 30minutes late and were unable to reach anyone on the phone until our guide literally arrived at our hotel. He was very apologetic but we were just happy that he arrived at all and our trip could still go ahead. Our group was lovely and bonded quickly thanks to our guide, breakfast was great and even when we found out that the keys to the van had been locked inside we were all happy to chat until aaa could rescue us! Again, our guide was very apologetic and we were all happy as long the brief delay of less than 30 minutes didn’t affect our trip schedule too much. Alfonso’s knowledge is incredible and he makes the time pass quickly with his facts and humour, there is so much to see en-route to the many stops you make before the Grand Canyon and his photography skills are outstanding! As a couple who hate photo opportunities and avoid cameras, even we were won over with his posing and scene-setting skills and have come away with some INCREDIBLE photos we never expected. He knows the best spots for photos, where to avoid wasting your time and even best angles and lighting! No amount of photos is too much for him and he’ll even use his own phone if it means a better photo for you. Alfonso is an absolute star and a real credit to this company, he made the trip utterly phenomenal even with a few hiccups and we are so happy we chose grand adventures for this epic once in a lifetime excursion. We saw an Elk and group of deer as we were leaving the Grand Canyon and I was able to feed it some water directly from my bottle which was a truly moving and emotional experience to see such a magnificent creature up close. Alfonso didn’t hesitate to care for these creatures and make sure they were safe amongst the gathering crowd which showed his genuine caring nature and how much he loves his job and the environment he gets to work In. Thank you so much for everything!

Started off the day with Alfonso from Grand Adventures Tour picking us up around 6:30am. Once everyone was picked up from a few other hotels we then proceeded for our tour. First stop, Hoover Dam, which was amazing. Second stop, Iconic Route 66, which was so cool! The third stop was the Grand Canyon, was such an amazing view to see. It was really exciting to see in person. Our tour guide was Alfonso and he was very informative throughout the whole tour. We had a great group of people on our tour, which made it so much fun! Alfonso also took Amazing pictures for us on our phones. He went beyond our expectations on being a tour guide/photographer too. We had a tour of 9 people on the van and it was perfect. The ride was comfortable. I was worried beforehand about the length of our journey, but we made plenty of bathroom stops. Our tour included, breakfast at McDonald’s, yummy sandwich, grapes, cheese, for lunch and plenty of water & cookies for late snack. Overall our tour was so amazing and I’ll never forget it. Do yourself a favor and do not hesitate to book this Grand Canyon South Rim walking tour.

This was our 2nd. trip to the Grand Canyon with Grand Adventures. On booking for our group of 5, I Specifically asked if we could be put on the bus with Alfonso as had so much fun with him a few years back. Unfortunately we missed out, our guide was very good but I had raved on about Alfonso to the rest of the group and felt we missed out on what I had promised. The tour was still excellent , a long day but oh so worth it.

Hi Mary! We try really hard to make sure everyone gets the tour guides they request but sometimes they are not available. It's not very often we can't meet the requests of our guests and sorry we couldn't this time. Thanks for coming to visit us again and hopefully see you soon.
