Grand Canyon National Park
This Grand Canyon tour offers some of the most stunning scenery on Earth. It’s the only tour in Las Vegas that takes you out to Hopi Point, the highest and most scenic point at Grand Canyon. Only Grand Canyon shuttle buses operated in this secluded part of Grand Canyon, where the edge of earth touches the faint, blue sky. We begin our walk at Bright Angel Lodge and follow the upper rim trail to Hopi Point. The most amazing part of this walk is that each lookout point gets better and better until we arrive at the most stunning of them all, Hopi Point. The South Rim is 1,000 feet lower than the North Rim so the Grand Canyon looks like a screen drop against the sky. It’s absolutely stunning and surreal and will keep you breathless throughout the walk. The best part about walking is that we’re able to feel the peace and surrealness of the Grand Canyon wisp around us. Grand Adventures is the only tour operator to offer such a cool walking tour and experience!

Myself and my wife recently took the walking tour of the South Rim from Las Vegas. It was a VERY long day but what a day it was, something we will never forget. The tour is first class from start to finish, as was our tour guide Luiz. He was brilliant. We were picked up on time at the location specified and dropped off on time at the same location. He even offered to drop us anywhere on the strip if we preferred. Luiz has so much knowledge about Las Vegas, the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon and we learnt so much but we never felt bombarded with information at any point. There are multiple stops on the way out including Seligman, a cowboy town in Arizona on route 66 and of course the Hoover dam. The walking tour itself was incredible, the views of the South Rim and Colorado river are breathtaking, I've never seen a sight like it in my life. Luiz was always on hand with information and offerings to take pictures for us. The pre-paid sandwich lunch was also excellent. The Americans certainly aren't shy with there sandwich fillings! Plenty of meat and salad packed between a bun. Luiz always made sure we had enough water throughout the tour and stopped plenty of times for toilet breaks. Overall this tour was very professional but personal as well because of the small group of participants (4 couples, of all different nationalities). Be prepared for an extremely long day but my god is it worth it. My only regret is that I forgot to tip Luiz when he dropped us off! What a super tour guide. Thanks!

Our tour guide Brian got our small group of lovely people to the Canyon and back efficiently and comfortably. He had great information about history and geography and took us on a beautiful, easy hike to the most spectacular viewpoints! The day was fun and easy and the sights were utterly magnificent. Brian was a wonderful guide who clearly really appreciates natural beauty.

Trading all these posts, my wife and I were really looking forward to this tour. The tour itself was pretty amazing, the logistics were horrible. We were picked up in a passenger van with a a cracked windshield, the sliding door was damaged to the point the door did not seal properly, and the seat cushion was so worn-out, I literally say on the springs. We sat on the first row directly behind the driver's row. I had a view of everything including what the driver was looking through, a cracked windshield with about a six inch crack on the driver's side corner. I could see through the sliding door jam as it was no longer aligned properly. And like I said, I was sitting on springs. As this was a long drive, this clearly was uncomfortable. Lastly, again I could view everything, I'm not sure if the driver was falling asleep or thought a turn, that was miles ahead, was near but he approached a right turn WAY too fast and then decided to go straight. This resulted with the van hitting the curb dirt which jolted the entire van. The walking tour was the only part really enjoyable, the accommodations there and back, certainly Not. At this price I would have expected much more. Oh, plus one of the visitors went missing for some time. If not for the actual tour, I would not give this company a 2.
