What To Expect

Grand Canyon West

Your first destination of the tour is the Grand Canyon West, home to the famous Skywalk. Start off at Eagle Point where you have the choice to experience the Grand Canyon Skywalk (for an additional fee), browse the rim of the canyon, or check out the native village where you might see some dancers! Next up, you'll head to Guano Point. Here, experience 360-views of the canyon and beam down at the Colorado River below. Enjoy some BBQ lunch and have some free time to yourself at the canyon. Your expert tour guide will talk about the geology, the Colorado River, the mining and the Mojave Desert at the West Rim.

Hoover Dam

Head to the Hoover Dam after your Grand Canyon West experience to see this engineering marvel. Enjoy some free time at the Visitor Center to check out the souvenirs and purchase some snacks. Your guide will walk you across the Hoover Dam and talk about the Hoover Dam history, geology, Lake Mead, and more. ** Please Note - Due to COVID-19, the interior of the Hoover Dam is currently closed **

Our guide, Chris, was early for our pickup and off we went to start a very informative and fun day. We picked up two other couples then off to Grand Canyon first then Hoover Dam. Chris was awesome! Entertaining and very knowledgeable. He even let us all take a little nap after our long day and lunch. We really appreciated not having to worry about tickets or parking and such. We would recommend the trip, even if it was a little pricey but hey, it's Vegas!

We took the pink Jeep tour to Hoover Dam/ Grand Canyon West. Our guide was Stephen and I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our tour! The ride- comfortable, reasonable comfort stops, perfectly narrated along the way. Lunch- the food was great! Stephen recommended one of the 2 choices and it was perfect. Your choice of chicken or BBQ beef, sides ,corn bread. $3 charge for drink at lunch which was brand new starting the day of our trip. Perfect amount of time spent at Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. A major plus with this tour is that other bus tours must take shuttle once they get to Grand Canyon to the various sites. The pink jeep drove you directly there! The tour picked up about 6:30 AM and we were back approx 5 in plenty of time for dinner and night activities. Excellent tour!

Jennifer N. picked us up at our hotel and off we went. She was so courteous and had snacks and waters for us. We rode in comfort to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon where Jennifer told us some history and a lot of desert ecology. We took tons of interesting pictures then headed to the Hoover Dam. While at the Dam, we discovered that due to a medical condition, my husband was advised to not go on the turbine tour. Jennifer worked with us to find an alternative that would still allow us to enjoy the Dam. We highly recommend Pink Jeep Tours and Jennifer in particular.
