My young adult daughter and I took the morning tour and couldn't have been more pleased. Our driver, Jerry, called me en route to our hotel pick up to confirm he was coming, which I found reassuring. Our pink jeep was extremely comfortable and cool, and we had an ice chest full of cold bottled water to enjoy. Jerry was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and told us all about the early development of the area and specifically the Hoover Dam. It was refreshing to get out of the glitz on The Strip and see more of the city of Las Vegas and surrounding areas. The tour of the dam itself was fascinating, but be forewarned. The beginning of the tour (approximately 30 minutes) is outside - I highly recommend you take the morning tour if you go in the summer. The day we were there was expected to reach 116 degrees. It was well into the 90's at 9:00 a.m. when we arrived on top of the dam, and the heat was intense. The remainder of the tour is inside and was comfortably cool. Jerry allowed us ample restroom breaks and returned us to our hotel right on time. All in all it was an excellent experience and one of the highlights of our Las Vegas trip!

Thank you for taking and enjoying our Hoover Dam Classic tour. It is a really fun way to see and hear about how the dam was constructed. We will let Jerry know how much you appreciated his presentation. We appreciate your Trip Advisor review and hope you will keep us in mind whenever you are back in Las Vegas, Sedona or at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.

My husband and I took the Hoover Dam tour. I highly recommend the AM tour, that is the one we took... it was not as hot and less crowded. By the time we left the crowds were accumulating. Robert S. was our tour guide & he was fantastic! He knew so much about the history of Las Vegas, Boulder City & the dam construction. If you are interested in engineering or history you will love this tour!

Robert S was our guide and driver. Robert did an excellent job; he talked about different facts on the way to the dam. He made sure we all had plenty of water and that we were comfortable. Robert took us over the dam, took photos of anyone who was interested. He took care of our tickets, showed us where to go and explained the process. He then showed us where he would be waiting once the tour was complete.
