Small-Group Jazz Stories from Armstrong Park Tour in New Orleans

Overview
Join us on this unique New Orleans’ music tour! Armstrong Park is named after one of the most famous jazz musicians in the world and one of New Orleans’ most beloved sons: Louis Armstrong. You’ll hear about jazz’s origins, resulting from a rich mix of cultures in a single city, which combined West African and Caribbean sounds with European musical influences - giving us this uniquely American artform. You won't stop there! Next, your local guide will bring jazz history to life by selecting a specially curated route to hear the best the music scene has to offer. You could make your way past Preservation Hall and the historic French market or head to the famous Frenchman Street, the largest concentration of live music venues in the city. Even stop for a drink on us! Whatever your musical interests, you’ll end this tour with a new appreciation for American music, New Orleans’ famous residents, and the art and sounds of jazz.

The tour was wonderful and informative. Loved getting to spend a significant amount of time in beautiful Armstrong Park on a warm, sunny day. Logan was a great tour guide who set a good pace and didn't mind answering all our questions. He went above and beyond and dropped us off for our respective next endeavors.
