Join Coastal Kayak Charters for a small group guided kayak tour of the Shell Key Preserve. We are St Pete's top rated kayak tour company and focus exclusively on small groups and private tours. Our trips offer more personalized service and better wildlife viewing opportunities while out on the water. We will explore hidden mangrove tunnels (tides permitting), shallow seagrass meadows, and stop on Shell Island for time to swim, look for shells, or just relax and enjoy the beach. Our tours are designed for beginners and experienced kayakers alike. We use stable user friendly kayaks that provide a great paddling experience. We primarily use double kayaks unless you have an odd number in your group. If you prefer single kayaks they are available through our website. What's Included

All Equipment, Instruction & Dry Bags. Primarily Double Kayaks, singles available through website.

**Weight Limit** 250lbs per seat | 450lbs combined for double kayaks.

*Ages 3+ | 3-12 must be in a double kayak with an adult or older child.

*Please arrive to launch site 30min early, there are no public facilities available at site.

This was a great tour! Our guide Brian was funny and informative! We had a couple of friends that had never kayaked before and Brian was very helpful and gave them lots of instruction. The mangroves were amazing and so unlike any kayak experience I’ve ever had.

My husband and I had an absolute amazing time celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary with Coastal Kayak Charters at Shell Key! They were very knowledgeable and ready to assist the most inexperienced to the most experienced in the group, making the trip enjoyable for all!

Great paddle!!! Excellent guide, very knowledgeable about the wildlife and area. Dolphin sightings and lots of other sea creatures and birds!!! I highly recommend this tour!
