Small-Group Malibu Wine Hike

Overview

The hike is a guided 2.5 mile loop around the property where you will get to walk through the vines, see amazing views, visit our Chumash Native American cave paintings, and explore our organic garden. The hike is considered easy to moderate with about 300 feet of elevation gain and loss. This tour is open for all ages, however due to the terrain we cannot allow strollers or wagons. At the end of the tour guests will receive wine to-go.

Who knew that there are beautiful wineries and tasting rooms in the Malibu Canyon? And, if you go on the Malibu Wine Hike you get to see the gorgeous grounds as well as feed and pet Stanley the Giraffe and Catherine Zebra Jones! Ask for Justin for tour guide - he's great! The wines were quite tasty and the setting for the tasting area is just beautiful - live music, food trucks or you can bring your own food in to picnic.

My brother and I arrange a Malibu Wines Hike with Kurt for the Saturday before Mother's Day. We went in with very little idea of what was in store for us. We had figured hiking + giraffes + wine= happy mom. So let's just say we were blown away! Not only were we able to feed & meet Stanley the Giraffe, we also got to meet & see all of the animals on the Safari. Kurt was an fantastic guide and was so patient with us while we insisted on petting every animal (except the dangerous ones of course). It was a magical experience and our mom said it was her most favorite mother's day yet! Thank you Kurt and Malibu Wines Hikes!

Really enjoyed our wine safari hike. It is a pleasant stroll (more than hike), lots of animals to see and feed, tour the beautiful property followed by wine tasting and live music at Malibu Wines (wines are not amazing, but it is a very peasant afternoon) and the whole thing is very reasonably priced. Bring a picnic lunch.
