Small-Group Malibu Wine Hike

Overview

The hike is a guided 2.5 mile loop around the property where you will get to walk through the vines, see amazing views, visit our Chumash Native American cave paintings, and explore our organic garden. The hike is considered easy to moderate with about 300 feet of elevation gain and loss. This tour is open for all ages, however due to the terrain we cannot allow strollers or wagons. At the end of the tour guests will receive a 375 ML bottle of wine to-go.

We decided to do the wine hike over the safari because I prefer to walk and I think you experience more this way. Great choice ! We had so much fun with Our wonderful,witty and fun guide Kurt ! We hiked through some of the vineyards and through beautiful scenery. Had plenty of photo opportunities with the assistance of our trusty guide and eventually made it to the area for the wine tasting. We tried 3 different types of wine. All were very good. There were 8 of us in this group so we all had time to chat and have great conversations and relax from our hike. There were yard games to play also but we were having a nice time getting to know each other and munch on crackers . The next portion of the hike was through some gardens, fruit, veggie and flower. Kurt told us all about that and he let us pick strawberries and eat them. So good. Another fun part to the hike was seeing and feeding the animals on the ranch . You could feed a couple such as llamas, alpacas, and zebras but there are other animals to be seen, including Stanley the giraffe ! Beautiful property, great info and exercise Well worth doing. Not overly strenuous I’m 62 and managed and just in average good shape 😁👍 we thoroughly enjoyed the whole hike adventure and Kurt !

Very pleasant two hour walking hike around the vineyard and grounds set in 1,000 acres of land. Produces wine, special events and a private collection of exotic animals.

The hike was great - couldn't have asked for better weather! My college friend and I lucked out with an awesome hike guide, Sebastian. He was very informative and incredibly fun. The wine was delicious, but getting to see, feed, and pet all the animals was the cherry on top! And for all you Instagrammers: there are a ton of photo opps :) Thanks Malibu Wine Hike!
