Small-Group Malibu Wine Hike

Overview

The hike is a guided 2.5 mile loop around the property where you will get to walk through the vines, see amazing views, visit our Chumash Native American cave paintings, and explore our organic garden. The hike is considered easy to moderate with about 300 feet of elevation gain and loss. This tour is open for all ages, however due to the terrain we cannot allow strollers or wagons. At the end of the tour guests will receive a 375 ML bottle of wine to-go.

Fantastic!!!!!! Marie was our awesome tour guide and photographer. I’m a huge animal so naturally this was the perfect activity. You can tell Marie loves the animals and knows them she was great at getting there attention for photos and feedings. Horses, donkeys, llamas, zebras, water buffalo, and of course Stanley the giraffe !!! I will be back !!!

I've had this on my list of things to do for a few months and wish I had not waited so long. We were a large group of 15 and from the minute we booked the hike the staff was really accommodating, thank you Haley and Ivana! We did the walking hike because we had kids with us so no option for the suv/safari. I'm sure the suv is super fun, but now having gone on the hike on foot was so much more special. We met up with our tour guide KURT who was fantastic. He was funny and informative and so easy to get along with. The tour was authentic in every way and you can tell how much Kurt loves the ranch by the way he does the tour. Make sure he tells you all the animal names, HYSTERICAL! The ranch is beyond breathtaking from every angle. The wine was really good (I didn't know what to expect). You get up close to all the animals and since we had kids with us this was really another highlight. Stanley the giraffe was the all around favorite! We will definitely be going back, next time for one of the dinners or music hikes. Don't miss this one....its a true gem of an experience.

We had such a great time on the giraffe hike. The weather was perfect, the animals were so cute (and so was our guide, Kurt)! The wine was really good and we were given generous pours. Kurt kept us laughing the whole time with his "Dad jokes." The hike is not very strenuous which is probably a good thing after drinking wine, but I am a bit of a lightweight when it comes to alcohol. It was a fun upbeat outdoor experience that I would highly recommend.
