Small-Group Malibu Wine Hike

Overview

The hike is a guided 2.5 mile loop around the property where you will get to walk through the vines, see amazing views, visit our Chumash Native American cave paintings, and explore our organic garden. The hike is considered easy to moderate with about 300 feet of elevation gain and loss. This tour is open for all ages, however due to the terrain we cannot allow strollers or wagons. At the end of the tour guests will receive a 375 ML bottle of wine to-go.

Everything about it was great. It was a perfect 75 degrees and beautiful weather. Our guide Kurt was super cool. We had great conversation the whole time and he was a cool guy, hopefully you get him! We got to feed llamas, horses, lambs, zebras...and of course Stanley, the famous giraffe. The hike was not too strenuous however wear some tennis shoes. Even though the fire destroyed a good portion of that area, the hike was so beautiful with the surrounding mountains and views. I would highly suggest this tour and exploring Malibu Wines!

Our guide was knowledgeable of the wine and zoo animals. Preferred hiking over the safari jeeps. Had a great time and Elena was fantastic - highly recommend!

Been an LA resident for over 20 years but was not aware of Malibu Family Wines. A great afternoon for all types, including children, as the hike is a very manageable 2.5 mile trek broken up by a 30 minute wine tasting. A wide variety of animals unlike what you would normally see (water buffalo, Scottish Highland cows, zebras, and Stanley the giraffe!). Our guide, Pyar, was personable and knowledgable about the history of the Semler family and the winery. Highly recommend this activity.
