Small-Group Malibu Wine Hike

Overview

The hike is a guided 2.5 mile loop around the property where you will get to walk through the vines, see amazing views, visit our Chumash Native American cave paintings, and explore our organic garden. The hike is considered easy to moderate with about 300 feet of elevation gain and loss. This tour is open for all ages, however due to the terrain we cannot allow strollers or wagons. At the end of the tour guests will receive a 375 ML bottle of wine to-go.

Unfortunately this Wine Hike was not what we expected. This is more of a wine walk with little information given about wine or the grounds or history, etc.But plenty of stops for photos just about every 500 feet. Very pretty grounds and lots of animals. However, I specifically chose this one over the safari because we wanted an actual hike. Also, there is no wine while hiking / strolling or anything like that. There is a tasting at the very end. You are shuttled to the crowded grounds of Malibu Wines for the tasting. Over all a nice time because of the company I was with but I would probably just opt for a tasting over this.

This was my second time at Malibu Wines. I came last year and did the safari experience. This time I wanted to switch it up and try the hike. It was so much fun! The property is beautiful and it's a wonderful place to visit. I would recommend going in the morning if you before it gets to hot.
