Small-Group Malibu Wine Hike

Overview

The hike is a guided 2.5 mile loop around the property where you will get to walk through the vines, see amazing views, visit our Chumash Native American cave paintings, and explore our organic garden. The hike is considered easy to moderate with about 300 feet of elevation gain and loss. This tour is open for all ages, however due to the terrain we cannot allow strollers or wagons. At the end of the tour guests will receive a 375 ML bottle of wine to-go.

such a disappointment - you hike through property and are shown somethings the property owners have collected, asked to be quiet while passing through multiple weddings being held on the property and at the end walk through one of the rows of grapes. then shuttled to their wine tasting area - which is so beautiful but club music was bumping loudly, a girl was twerking on top of a table and the guy serving wine didn’t talk about the wine being served and stood in one place and leaned over guest to pour wine into glasses around the table. lastly, we pre-puchased a charcuterie board to pair with the wines...(no joke) we were given a brown paper bag with two small paper plates, two plastic knives, prepackaged cheese and a small salami (all that could be bought at a grocery store) for an extra $50 on top of the rest of the cost. just don’t waste your time or money. buy a nice wine, pack a picnic and find a beautiful hike in Malibu canyon and you’ll be doing much better.

Malibu wine hike was incredible. It was more of a walk around the ranch than a hike but I’d do it everyday if I could. We ended at the tasting room which was popping off with music, dancing, wine and charcuterie. The ambiance of it all was on point. 10/10 would do this again 10/10 recommend to all my friends.

Possibly one of the most enjoyable local group trips I've ever been too! One fine Saturday morning we planned an open tour hike and wine tasting. Our tour guide and comedian extraordinaire of the day was Kurt! He walked us through a brief history of the winery and introduced us to the animals that lived on the farm...and filled it with laughter...I honestly don't want to give specify away but believe us...me! It was quite a memorable day from start to end! We fed zebras and alpacas, enjoyed the acres and acres of the future wine and even picked a grape or two fresh from its vines! We gazed at the giraffe from a afar, saw a wedding set up, and enjoyed the company of friends along the way and at the very end zipped wine and ate from a Korean fusion truck! Several if not most, of the other hikers in our group vocalized how much fun they had and thanked me for setting this up. I'm so happy we booked this day at this particular time...thank you Kurt and Malibu Wines...extra thank you to Haley for responding quickly to our email!! Definitely will come back and check out the other events Malibu Wine has to offer!! Book in advance as they fill up rather fast!
