This was an amazing tour. The guide, Angela was fantastic. She was, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and a great communicator. Her explanations were more like stories and not just rote memorization. Everything was perfect. There were only 2 of us, so it was a private tour. The cocktails were great, she made great choices after inquiring about what were our likes and dislikes. Take this tour. You won't be disappointed.

The beauty of smaller groups is we really to get to know one another a bit better so we can tailor the tour to your interests as well. And sometimes you even luck out with a private tour! So glad to hear that you had such a wonderful time with Angela! -Brittawnée

Ty is awesome, she has a ton of knowledge about facts and myths. We felt lucky to have her with us and in a group of 5 that allowed for more personal interaction, thanks to the tour company for that! Beware of other tours, we noticed they had massive groups that looked disengaged. We finished the Ghosts of the French Quarter tour with a positive story and a nice souvenir. I highly recommend Ty, she was very respectful of the information, places, and people (dead and alive) in the tour.

Ty is an exceptional guide and storyteller and we're so grateful that she's a part of our team! And we agree, smaller groups allow us to get to know our guests and vice versa, making for a more intimate experience. We also aim to separate fact from fiction as opposed to sensationalizing the details, because all the figures we discuss walked these streets at one time...and sometimes it feels like they still do! Thanks so much for the thoughtful review. -Brittawnée

I was sooo happy this tour was based on fact and included some of the fiction promoted by "ghost tours." Roger was great differentiating the history from the mythology but also sharing some fun distortions commonly used by other tour guides. In fact, as we passed other groups I could overhear the exaggerated stories being told. The tour is long and, unfortunately, my hip gave out due to the lengthy time standing but it was worth every minute we spent to learn about NOLA history.

One of my favorite pastimes is to eavesdrop on the competition lol! ;) Mostly joking but we do sometimes overhear and it's a helpful barometer for our own fact checking as well. All of the figures we discuss were people who lived and walked these streets once, so we aim to be as accurate and respectful as possible, all while dispelling the mythos of the legends we retell. And gosh, I am SO sorry to hear that you were feeling your injury at the end of the two hours! It's not a long distance, about a mile, but it is standing or walking the entire time and can be unexpectedly tiring for some at times. I hope it's not too serious and you get some relief from it soon! And thank you for the outstanding review! -Brittawnée
