Small-Group Public BYOB Sunset Boat Tour on Lake Austin

Overview
Perfect for solo travelers or small groups who don’t want to rent the entire boat themselves, this intimate cruise offers the perks of a private cruise without the associated costs. Our captain serves as a tour guide who may point out landmarks, celebrity homes, or share their own personal stories from the lake. Bring your own drinks—alcoholic beverages welcome—and a camera to capture photos of the lakeside grotto known as Little Venice.

The Lake Austin cruise takes off from the Loop 360 Boat Ramp located below the southern end of Pennybacker Bridge over Lake Austin. This three-acre park is primarily used for lake access, but offers a grassy area for picnicking. A few bald cypress and sycamore trees grow along the water's edge.

Multiple boats are used for this event, we'll do our best to accommodate special seating requests. Please let us know if you have friends booking separately that you'd like to sit with.

The BYOB cruise on Lake Travis was amazing. Jason was a great captain, telling us interesting facts about some of the houses that we passed, providing access to an aux cord so we could play our own music, and supplying ice, cups, and even sleeping bags for if we got chilly! If I'm ever in the area again, this is definitely something I'd love to do again, I would absolutely recommend it to visitors and locals alike.

We went on a sunset cruise on Lake Austin with Captain Vince. Everything was amazing. The views, the company, the music and Vince all made for a great time. I highly recommend Float On and look forward to doing the boat cruise again.
