Small-Group Public BYOB Sunset Boat Tour on Lake Austin

Overview
Perfect for solo travelers or small groups who don’t want to rent the entire boat themselves, this intimate cruise offers the perks of a private cruise without the associated costs. Our captain serves as a tour guide who may point out landmarks, celebrity homes, or share their own personal stories from the lake. Bring your own drinks—alcoholic beverages welcome—and a camera to capture photos of the lakeside grotto known as Little Venice.

The Lake Austin cruise takes off from the Loop 360 Boat Ramp located below the southern end of Pennybacker Bridge over Lake Austin. This three-acre park is primarily used for lake access, but offers a grassy area for picnicking. A few bald cypress and sycamore trees grow along the water's edge.

Multiple boats are used for this event, we'll do our best to accommodate special seating requests. Please let us know if you have friends booking separately that you'd like to sit with.

Fabulous 3 hour sunset cruise with our awesome captain Rob! Boat was comfortable, he was very accommodating and took pictures of our group on a beautiful rock island and then surprised us with a stop on Sometimes Island to enjoy the picnic we brought with us. So amazing from start to finish! You gotta do this!!!!

The sunset cruise was perfect, the boat was spanking clean, the captain was very personable, and the ride was smooth and informative. It's nice to have someone who knows the area, ;and and lake, command the boat while you have a good time with your family while enjoying libations and music and not be worried about traffic on the lake, anchoring or the authorities. Much better than renting your own for a very reasonable price.

We're so happy you had a great time with Float On. It's one of our goals to make every boat rental a memorable one and it seems Jason made sure we accomplished that here. Let us know when you're back in the area one day!
