Small-Group Public BYOB Sunset Boat Tour on Lake Austin

Overview
Perfect for solo travelers or small groups who don’t want to rent the entire boat themselves, this intimate cruise offers the perks of a private cruise without the associated costs. Our captain serves as a tour guide who may point out landmarks, celebrity homes, or share their own personal stories from the lake. Bring your own drinks—alcoholic beverages welcome—and a camera to capture photos of the lakeside grotto known as Little Venice.

The Lake Austin cruise takes off from the Loop 360 Boat Ramp located below the southern end of Pennybacker Bridge over Lake Austin. This three-acre park is primarily used for lake access, but offers a grassy area for picnicking. A few bald cypress and sycamore trees grow along the water's edge.

Multiple boats are used for this event, we'll do our best to accommodate special seating requests. Please let us know if you have friends booking separately that you'd like to sit with.

Float On! Boat rentals was beyond awesome if that is even possible 😀 Very easy to reserve online with email confirmation. Pay a deposit or in full. 12 passenger Tritoon reserved for 3-hrs. 30 mins to arrive at the boat dock and was met there by Captain Rob. Very accommodating and had a wheelbarrow to carry our items down the ramp to the boat. Captain Rob born and raised in Austin and knows the lake. Took us to a spot to cliff dive/jump and took video. Even the 8 yr old did it, so it was safe. Had a lilypad float, noodles, and vests. Beautiful homes, great water, and good times! Will definitely be there again!

This was my first time renting from Float On and it was great! They were super quick to respond to every email I sent. We had an amazing time on Lake Austin for Father's Day. The boat was clean and beautiful. I felt very safe during this pandemic because our captain, Alex, always made sure we were far enough away from other visitors. I would definitely recommend. Can't wait to rent a boat for Lake Travis, next time.
