The weather was beautiful. Spectacular views on the way. The black sand beach is something we will remember forever. Ernie was a great tour guide! He shared his knowledge of plants and wildlife. We loved this tour!

The trip was awesome and worth the money. All the reviews are correct, I don’t recommend driving this without a driver. If my husband were driving he wouldn’t have been able to enjoy the trip, he would have had to pay extra attention to changing roads, terrain and other inexperienced drivers to this area. Richard was our driver, guide, picture taker and so much more. He knows any and everything about the area. He had to back up on a road that most would have just given up on because another vehicle needed to pass, it was a moment I wanted to say listen just let me out, LOL!! I’m so happy we chose the small group tour to Hana it was safe, and the views took your breath away. There were some bumpy parts to the trip where the road wasn’t as smooth, it was a very very long day (make sure its the only activity you schedule in one day) but I highly recommend this experience.

The van seats 7 people with their own chair and window view, don’t forget to bring your phone cord. Plenty of room. The guide, Amy was Fantastic! Skilled driver, knew the road/island, answered our questions. Gave tons of interesting facts and things to look at that we would have never seen if we did this alone. The breakfast snack, drinks and picnic lunch was fine perfect for an all day can ride. All of the stops were picture worthy. Wear your bathing suit, you will not have time to change on the trip. We couldn’t do the waterfall stop, nowhere to park, too many people. Amy took us to see the turtles at another cool beach, a request from a passenger, it was lovely. It was worth the money for the seating and to be driven by someone who knows the roads. If you want to see the highlights of the road to Hana without the hassle of the drive, this is the way.
