Tour operator will deny participation to Guests arriving in or with wheelchairs, electric scooters and / or walkers. Guests with heart or respiratory conditions, oxygen tanks, or generators can not participate.
Toddler Car Seats for children ages 4 through 9 years are available upon request and, at least, 48 hours prior to the start of tour time.

We recommend enjoying this drive with someone experienced so you can enjoy the view, it is worth it. Our guide was Adam, and he was a refreshing laid back change from the hype it up, rah rah tour guide. He was a careful driver, a knowledgeable Hawaii native, and displayed a genuine love for Maui and appreciation for us. He didn't rush us, so we got to take the time for the lava tube, black sand beach, swimming under a waterfall and sea turtles. It was a great day, maybe our favorite of the vacation.

Josh was very attentive to our comfort, including umbrellas for the frequent drizzle on and off that day. There was enough sun to enjoy the trip, with the highlight being the black sand beach. Multiple stops for viewing and photos. So many types of vegetation. Josh was very knowledgeable about the island and provided so much information about all that we saw. So much green and terrific views. The van was roomy and comfy and so much better than driving ourselves.

An absolute perfect start to our vacation to Maui! We had received such dire warnings about driving this iconic Hawaiian route that we debated about even including it in our itinerary. Fortunately, we elected to make this trip on our first day in Maui with Temptation Tours' fantastic and experienced driver and guide Paul Janes-Brown. As Paul navigated the infamous twists and turns, we were riveted not only by the breathtaking beauty around every bend but by Paul's narration of local lore, Hawaiian history, present day culture, ecology, who's who and what's what in the Pacific paradise. We saw hidden scenic treasures, enjoyed a stop for the best banana bread in Maui, swam at the Black Sand Beach at Wai'anapananpa State Park, were served a gourmet picnic lunch at Hana Bay, had family photos taken at waterfalls and pools, and watched sea turtles and windsurfers along the shore at Ho'okipa. This day's experience really added context for the rest of our stay in Maui. Paul's information about Maui led us to a more interesting and magical visit than we had originally planned. So many great memories were made. Thank you, Paul Janes-Brown, for one of the Best Family Vacations Ever!!
