It is called the Ultimate Road to Hana tour for a reason. It was fabulous. We had a wonderful breakfast and lunch in a restaurant (rather than eating out on a picnic). The food was great and had plenty of it. Our guide, Gayle Shufeldt, told us her passengers rarely get carsick (which several of us were worried about) and she was right. She had interesting stories and information about our trip and had a microphone so hearing wasn't a problem. We had a rental car and had thought about doing it ourselves. I am so glad we didn't. Everyone that we knew that did this regretted it and most didn't make it to Hana at all. She has been doing it for so long, she smoothly moves through the curves, knows when single lanes or bridges are coming up and knows where to park for all the stops rather than being in a car than is continually jerking around. The van has very comfortable leather seats. We got to stop at the black sand beach for an hour and really enjoy it. We didn't have to worry about going online to make a reservation to enter it which is great. I would recommend Gayle and Temptation Tours to others visiting Maui.
