Montezuma Castle National Monument

To be true to the area's rich history, the Sedona single day tour gives you a chance to explore ancient Native American civilization. You'll visit the ruins at Montezuma Castle National Monument which are the most easily accessible, best preserved and arguably the most spectacular cliff ruins in North America. You'll see an impressive 20-room, 5-story structure built into the recess of a white limestone cliff about 70 feet (21 meters) above the ground.

The tour is well put together, the sights spectacular, but our tour guide was, unfortunately, curt and impolite, specifically to my sister and me. He was extremely upset and ill mannered because we were late at pickup time. My sister explained that I needed additional time (I am a cancer patient and disabled) and apologized profusely. I caused a 14 minute delay, but he made sure that we were treated like dirt throughout the tour.. It's not my intention to give names, but to point out what this company needs to address--better training and a little more compassion.

We lucked out with a sunny day to see the beautiful landscape of Sedona Red Rock Country. Our tour guide Shauntil was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and history and plants and made the whole group feel very comfortable together. The on time pick up and drop off at the hotel made it very convenient.
