What To Expect

Montezuma Castle National Monument

To be true to the area's rich history, the Sedona single day tour gives you a chance to explore ancient Native American civilization. You'll visit the ruins at Montezuma Castle National Monument which are the most easily accessible, best preserved and arguably the most spectacular cliff ruins in North America. You'll see an impressive 20-room, 5-story structure built into the recess of a white limestone cliff about 70 feet (21 meters) above the ground.

Detours of Arizona was found to be a very professional, well-run, friendly company. All the staff we were in contact with were welcoming and easily answered our questions. Jason picked us up on time and entertained, informed throughout the trip. He could answer all our questions, had a good sense of humour and expertly drove the hills and vals. Thank you Jason! Have a Starbucks on us. My husband and I had done a lot of driving to see some of Arizona’s highlights and found having someone drive us very comfortable and relaxing. Sit back and enjoy.

I enjoyed my day very much. Jennifer, our tour guide was great and made everyone feel comfortable and I loved the background she shared about the places on each piece of the tour. It was a wonderful experience to introduce you to Sedona. Highly recommend. She took great care of us and I appreciated it!

I had a great time with a small group tour of the Red Rocks of Sedona! Derek was a fabulous guide with a cool play list! He was knowledgeable about the local area and kept a laid back pace. The stops along the way were amazing and we never felt rushed. Montezuma Castle, Bell Rock, Mesa Airport Views and the Chapel of the Holy Cross were definitely worth visiting! I enjoyed meeting the others on the trip and those of us who didn’t take a jeep tour, enjoyed a lovely lunch together at Oaxaca’s in Sedona. Not required... we just had a fun group and enjoyed each other’s company! This was a great way to visit the area without having to rent a car and try to figure out where to park, etc. The main office communicated all details ahead of time and stayed in touch with confirmations. This tour starts very early and Derek arrived right on time. It might have been fun to take a Jeep ride, but I didn’t feel like I missed a thing! I highly recommend Detours of Arizona!
