What To Expect

Montezuma Castle National Monument

To be true to the area's rich history, the Sedona single day tour gives you a chance to explore ancient Native American civilization. You'll visit the ruins at Montezuma Castle National Monument which are the most easily accessible, best preserved and arguably the most spectacular cliff ruins in North America. You'll see an impressive 20-room, 5-story structure built into the recess of a white limestone cliff about 70 feet (21 meters) above the ground.

Great tour....we were picked up at our hotel on time and they use the LIFO (Last in First Out) which meant we were picked up last in the morning but dropped off first in the evening. Stan was our tour guide and you can tell that he really likes what he does. He checked in on us several times to make sure that we were comfortable with the air/heat and the sound system. He has a lot of knowledge of the area, plant life and history. We asked him a lot of questions throughout the day and he knew the answers to most of them. Stan also has a very fun sense of humor which made the day enjoyable. The van was very comfortable which was nice for a long day of traveling. The van probably held 16 people so getting on and off the bus and navigating some of the narrow roads was very easy. We had lunch in Sedona and we ate at Stans recommend Mexican restaurant Oaxaca Restaurant & Cantina and it was very good. Next time we will eat at the food type court across the street because you can sit outside and have a great view of the mountains during your meal. Stan was VERY ACCOMMODATING with with special requests without unconvincing other passengers. He also provided us with a lot of bottled water o don't worry about bringing some with you. If you are lucky enough to get Stan as your tour guide you won't be disappointed. Don't forget to tip the tour guides because they work really hard to make your experience a meaningful one. Read the other reviews regarding the stops and points of interest because I don't want to be repetitive, my review is more about the experience and about our tour guide Stan. Cheers!

driver on time. very knowledgable. van of 14 people. very comfortable ride. he answered all questions and had good stories. I wouldn't change a thing.

The driver was on time,very knowledgeable, & it was a very comfortable ride and a nice small group of 8 people. I would not change a thing about it! I highly recommend the Pink Jeep Vortex tour too!
