What To Expect

Montezuma Castle National Monument

To be true to the area's rich history, the Sedona single day tour gives you a chance to explore ancient Native American civilization. You'll visit the ruins at Montezuma Castle National Monument which are the most easily accessible, best preserved and arguably the most spectacular cliff ruins in North America. You'll see an impressive 20-room, 5-story structure built into the recess of a white limestone cliff about 70 feet (21 meters) above the ground.

Enjoy a visit to the famous Chapel of the Holy Cross, an iconic Catholic chapel built into the mesas of Sedona, Arizona

We had an amazing time and learned so much about Arizona. The Montezoma Castle area was spectaular, the ruins were intact and was interesting to learn about the people who lived there. The views at Sunset point were awesome. (alot of bathroom breaks greatly appreciated) Sedona's red rocks were breathtaking. Oak Creek Canyon is a cool green oasis and beautiful spot. The van was clean and comfortable and prompt. Our guide Jennifer greeted us with a smile and called out our name. She made us feel comfortable from the start of our trip. She was very knowledgable about Arizona sites and the history of the area.

My husband and I went on a full days trip to Sedona yesterday. Our tour guide was Justin who was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He showed us the best of Sedona’s site, the views were incredible! We had plenty of time to have lunch and see the shops in uptown Sedona too and we visited oak creek canyon on the way back which was a bonus as we had time where we had a wine tasting and got up close to humming birds and other wildlife. Justin kept us entertained all the time and ensured we had as much time as possible at all the sites. Plenty of water supplied all day and cool music played on way back to our hotel! Thank you so much Justin and Detours.

What a nice thing to be able to be picked up at my hotel and taken on a comfortable tour without having to worry about anything. I learned a lot about the area and could enjoy looking out the window instead of driving.
