What To Expect

Montezuma Castle National Monument

To be true to the area's rich history, the Sedona single day tour gives you a chance to explore ancient Native American civilization. You'll visit the ruins at Montezuma Castle National Monument which are the most easily accessible, best preserved and arguably the most spectacular cliff ruins in North America. You'll see an impressive 20-room, 5-story structure built into the recess of a white limestone cliff about 70 feet (21 meters) above the ground.

Enjoy a visit to the famous Chapel of the Holy Cross, an iconic Catholic chapel built into the mesas of Sedona, Arizona

As an Introvert, I was apprehensive about spending 9-11 hours with a group of strangers and almost skipped the tour. Happily, I didn’t as this day tour was absolutely fantastic! The guide filled our driving time by sharing interesting facts, context and history about our surroundings. Every stop on the tour provided breathtaking scenery and offered strategic breaks to walk around and take pictures. I grabbed a sandwich (Memories Cafe) and relaxed with stunning views (Canyon Breeze) and a book during the 2 hours in Uptown but there seemed to be plenty of options available for different activities. The day was incredible and I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone!

I traveled to Arizona for the first time this past week. I signed up for this tour not really knowing what to expect, in terms of how great it would be. This was one of the most memorable tours I have ever went on (and I have traveled all over Central and South America). Sedona is sooo beautiful! And, to have Lucky Bob as out tour guide was a huge plus on top of being in paradise for a day.

We had a great time! We couldn’t visit the ruins due to government shutdown but the substitution to Jerome was great! Our driver was great & knew a lot about Arizona’s history.
