Small Group Shark and Turtle Dive for Certified Divers

Overview

You enter the water and, after a short surface swim, descend on a condemned pier that has transformed into a vibrant reef. Schools of fish surround the wreckage that has accumulated colorful corals and sponges.

Turtles swim all around in organized chaos as you search for camouflaged frogfish, making it hard to decide where to look. You follow your instructor as they lead you through the obstacle course of the wreck, swimming under and through the old dock where you spot a pregnant reef shark resting under a section of cement and pause to admire her beauty. As you make your way back to your starting point you focus on the multitude of turtles that gracefully soar through the clear water.

Incredible dive experience with Matt as our guide! We walked into the ocean at the site of the wrecked Mala pier. Saw a ton of white tipped reef sharks, sea turtles, and eels.

Joe took my husband and I, and our 14 and 16 year old scuba diving. It was our kids first time (they did the Discover Scuba course). An amazing dive! Not too deep or complicated, so perfect for beginners, but also an incredible dive site. We saw turtles, a devil scorpion fish, thousands of fish, and 6 white tip reef sharks! Thanks for a great dive Joe!

Rene was the dive guide and she was excellent, very knowledgeable about the various local species, saw massive green turtles and 5 or 6 good size Reef Sharks, highly recommend the dive and dive company.
