What To Expect

Mission San Xavier del Bac

Our first stop as we head into the wild west is the White Dove of The Desert; one of the Southwest’s best preserved missions at San Xavier del Bac. Founded in 1692, the San Xavier Mission is still in operation and allows guests to marvel at the ornate craftsmanship showcasing both Spanish and Native influences. Original frescoes and statuary are still on display within the mission for guests to admire as well.

O.K. Corral

he Gunfight at the O.K. Corral was a 30-second shootout between lawmen and members of a loosely organized group of outlaws called the Cowboys that took place at about 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 1881

Big Nose Kate's Saloon

Historic destination for Southern & Mexican fare, live country music & Wild West reenactments.

Boothilll Graveyard

For those souls unfortunate enough to be on the losing end of those gun battles, they were buried at the infamous Boot Hill Cemetery. The cemetery aptly got its name from those who died with their boots on and were buried as such.

Loved it!! It was a great trip. Our guide, Montana, was also great. You can definitely sense his passion about the story of Tombstone. It was very cool seeing cowboys, even though I knew they were actors, milling about the town and into the restaurant where we were eating. It gave you a small sense of what it may have been like back in the day. I did feel a little rushed, which is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. There were several other things I would like to have done while we were there. But overall great trip, should definitely be done if you have any interest in the wild west. Also, showing the movie Tombstone on the way back is a nice finishing touch.

The trip was excellent, Dan our guide was very nice and knowledgeable and Tombstone itself was amazing!!!

The gunfight was great. Was not impressed with guide, he had two other guides with him and did not seem to concentrate on guest.
