Pikes Peak Highway is open year round. However, weather conditions are always a factor. if the summit is not accessible, we will drive to the highest point possible.
No children under the age of 7. Private tours are recommended for families with children.
You may experience altitude sickness. Avoid alcoholic beverages for 24 hours prior to departure time.
No refunds will be issued due to weather or road closures.

We took this tour and it was wonderful. Our driver, Ben, was very knowledgeable and a great guide. He was an excellent driver and took our safety very seriously. He helped make this tour a hit!!! Would gladly do this again..

The positives - Pike's Peak and Garden of the Gods were both beautiful places to visit. I was glad that I didn't have to drive, so I could look out at scenery, enjoy the ride and rest on the way home - plus, we could drive all the way to the top without having to take/wait for the shuttle. Our tour guide, Guy, was very knowledgeable and provided us with a lot of really good information. The not-so-positives - While I'm sure Guy has done the drive up Pike's Peak a million times, it was very disconcerting that he would take his hands off the wheel, point out the windows, look out the windows himself during a drive that is pretty scary-feeling...it may have just been my own anxiety, but I would have been much less anxious had he kept both hands on the wheel and his eyes on the road, at least for the Pike's Peak ascent. The town of Manitou Springs was cute - wish we could've spent a little more time there and had our choice of restaurant, as opposed to only stopping at one restaurant and having to eat there.

I booked this tour for a group of 4 via Viator and Ilimo tours was the company. The Guide had good information but he was not approachable. They did not have enough water bottles. Snacks were not provided. When I asked the Guide if you can make a stop near the Garden of Gods signboard, he said Sorry, I can't stop there and he asked to google and collect the pictures. I believe that is NOT the right way to answer. Also, at every stop, he was more concerned about taking pictures with his camera rather than giving information to us. The time given in few stops were not enough. After every stop, the guide didn't bother to take the headcount.
Not a good guide is all i can say.
