The Waipio Valley and Waterfall Tour was an amazing addition to my vacation. Dreu was a great guide for the entire day and Douglas was wonderful in the Valley! The waterfalls were breathtaking. Swimming in the private falls will definitely be a highlight of my entire trip to Hawaii.

Had some friends visiting and I wanted to take them to experience the magical Waipio Valley. Dreu was our guide and was warm and enthusiastic. We had a small snafu at the start of our trip, but that only proved that they were capable to roll with it, and handled it like professionals. We headed north and Dreu shared with us a plethora of information! You could tell his passion for the island, born and raised here he had seen it change alot. We met up with their partner and went into the valley, our Valley guide Douglass was a charismatic treat. A true Valley local experience, we crossed rivers, saw Taro fields, wild horses and beautiful waterfalls. He really made you feel like Ohana. After headed out, we had a great lunch of chicken and fish, with the yummy purple potatoes. We headed south and visited several other waterfalls and a private farm. The farm grows tropical fruit and they had several to sample. One of my unexpected favorite stops was a visit to "Spice Alley" where you got to see the spice trees grow - Nutmeg, Mace, All Spice, Curry and Cinnamon. I had never seen many of them and it combined my love of cooking and plants, so a nice addition. Very enjoyable trip!
