A friend & I had the greatest time on a tour of the beautiful waterfalls and so much more There were spice trees, wild horses, 4 wheeling, free tastings of honey and fruit and nuts. Many thanks to Darian, our tour guide , who made the 9 hour day fly by with his knowledge and kindness and tips and humor. Our other days of vacation were enhanced by all the things he had mentioned to us. I never heard of an apple banana until he told us about them. Also, when we went to the view the volcano on our own, we understood so much more due to our time spent with him. He showed us the traditional burning of the nuts to make light- Hence his nickname the light bearer. Also the Waipio valley was an amazing adventure with Kaleo. His stories of the area and showing of the many types of trees and fruits in the area , as well as the wild horses that visited us in his vehicle were delightful. The only suggestion I have is that the company provide him with a microphone, because it was hard to hear in the back of the jeep. But he was a gentleman and would repeat as needed.

Great guide, beautiful visit, and thoroughly enjoyed the OK Farm. The Waipio Valley was a thrilling ride. You could pretend to be riding in a all-terrain vehicle in Jurassic Park

Wonderful tour of the Big Island. Our tour guide Kala was very professional and as a native knew the history and culture of Hawaii. Kala knew the island like it was his backyard. He accommodated all passengers according to their needs. We had about 12 in our group. My wife could not walk well do to recent knee issue, but that was not a problem. We viewed 4 of the major falls and went in many neat areas that were private and not open to most tours. If you want to know the real Hawaii and enjoy it better, take this tour and ask for Kala Holiday. The tour company that Viator used was Wasabi Int.
