Join us on a full-day, small-group wine tour of the Spectacular North Sonoma County wine country! You’ll visit three charming, back roads wineries and be served a picnic lunch in an idyllic winery setting. Your tour guide will tell fascinating stories and share many interesting tidbits about local history, culture and wine making. Our specialty is intimate, light hearted and truly memorable experiences. Once the tour concludes, you will be dropped off from where you were picked up. The tour typically has 8-12 guests on board.

We are showing awesome (and COVID-safe) wine tours! Vehicles are frequently sanitized. Hand sanitizer on bus. Per CDC transportation guidelines, we recommend guests wear masks on board the tour shuttle. Safe, but still really fun.

What To Expect

Healdsburg

Your tour will begin with pickup from your Sonoma County hotel. Depending on where you are staying will define the tour region that you will be visiting. If your accommodations are outside of the winery region, you can arrange to meet us a general meeting spot in either Healdsburg or Santa Rosa. Tour visits 3 wineries that change daily.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

We just returned from Sonoma County and taking a Platypus Tour. What a great day we had!!!! We meet some really wonderful people and tasted some really great wines. Army our driver was a great guide. I would highly recommend this tour group when your in wine country. They took care of all the details. All we has to do was sit back and soak in the day.

We had a great wine tour with Platypus Tours! Our guide Sam picked us up on time. He was entertaining and provided lots of information on the area. We were a perfect size group of twelve people. We went to four vineyards and got to meet the winemakers, see the grape fields, and of course sample the wines. The Platypus Tour group provided lunch, which was perfect and fresh. Our group of four could not have asked for a better day!

Sam is such a treat! He is another guide who has been doing a fantastic job for us for over ten years! He is lively, curious and entertaining every day. Also, even I am amazed by everything he knows about this region, and by his compelling story-telling (Sam was voted tour guide of the year by the Napa and Sonoma hotel concierges, and mostly because they've heard so many of their guests raving about his tours over the years!)
