Jerri was an excellent guide and brought us to four great wineries. We enjoyed all of them, each were unique with wonderful wines.

We decided upon a private tour and we had the best Platypus tour guide, quiet but listening, very knowledgeable. We're not unfriendly but we had some specific places we wished to experience and that means you really need to go private. Very clean luxury vehicle, prompt scheduling kept on time throughout. We could not have possibly enjoyed a better private tour. When we booked they listened. When we were picked up, our tour guide listened. They delivered. Perfect.

I appreciate that feedback very much, and I'm delighted that your private tour with us met your needs and your expectations so well! For private tours, our guests often have places or experiences they are really hoping for, and we'll always take the time to understand just what those are and then do our very best to pull that specific tour day together. Other guests have only general ideas of what would constitute an ideal tour day, and we're very happy to accommodate them as well. On your tour day, your guide can be as interactive or as unobtrusive as you prefer. Again, different private tours call for different skills, and we know the difference. Best wishes!

Our host, Steve organized a great day visiting small wineries in North Sonoma County. We were picked up at our hotel and sampled wines from four distinctly different wineries. During the day, Steve prepared a delicious lunch in the most incredible setting. We had a great time with our small group which included people of varying ages from across the US. Visiting wineries with a small group made for a very fun day!

Our guides will always do their best to choose the most idyllic winery-grounds location possible to serve our picnic lunch. Choosing wineries is one of the most important guide skills, and no one is better at this than Steve. He puts a lot of thought into it, and even goes out to investigate new wineries on his days off. Thanks so much for posting, Barb!
