This was a fantastic day. Brian, our tour guide, was brilliant. Picked up at 5.45 AM- got back just before 9 PM- it must have been a very long day for him, but you wouldn’t know it. Incredibly friendly and full of in- depth knowledge about Yosemite and the area. Kept a happy atmosphere on the bus by having little competitions (who can guess the time we get to Yosemite? Who can spot a bear?) where you could win little prizes. One stop before Yosemite for quick break to grab coffee etc and one stop on way back. Brian will take photos for you and has just sent out our group photo, too. Was happy to set up telescopes and provide binoculars so we could spot climbers and gave us lots of history about climbing- including a couple of documentaries about climbing on the bus there and back. We went in April and unfortunately couldn’t visit Sequoia- but we understood this was a possibility when we booked. They had snow the day before and there was no access to anyone for safety. So we had longer at the waterfalls/ Yosemite Meadow/ Lodge. A thoroughly enjoyable day with a really lovely and genuine guy who obviously loves Yosemite and loves his job. Cannot recommend this tour enough. Yosemite is obviously a stunning place to visit. This tour makes it a magical day. Thank you!

Overall a great day! We were very unfortunate that it rained all day for us and there was very low cloud cover so we didn’t get to see many of the amazing views. Our tour guide Phil was brilliant and tried his best to get us those views and we drove around the park a couple of times throughout the day to see if the cloud had lifted but it didn’t sadly. Going in April meant that we couldn’t do the hike for the Sequioa trees as the road is closed over the winter (roughly October to May) due to snow. Just something to be aware of when booking. We saw some beautiful waterfalls that wouldn’t be seen in the winter or summer months, so that was great! Phil made the trip feel as good as it could have been given the unfortunate weather. Definitely book this trip, just keep an eye on the weather forecast!
