Overview

Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.

Our vans only take 15 passengers, so we are able to stop at more places with less time for loading and unloading of passengers.

*weather permitting, and the hike is not recommended for people with health issues

The trip is accessible for most of the tour. However, at the end of the day, we go on a hike to see the giant sequoias. This is NOT advised for people with back, heart or knee problems. It is also not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, this is only way to see the sequoias.
There is a possibility that the Giant Sequoia hike will not be available due to winter weather conditions.
Currently following local healthy and safety guidelines.

This was a memorable trip visiting Yosemite, Giant Sequioas in a single day. Trip started right on time and it had necessary break in places. Guide was very charming, informative and helpful. Highlight was observing the camp site of riders at El Capitan using the telescope set up by guide.

Great tour. I would highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide was great, very informative. He set up station to view climbers.

So 5 of us were on this trip end of March 2022. Brian contacted us day before to ensure our hotel pick up had not changed. He couldn't get in contact direct as my phone was playing up so he contacted the hotel and left a message..so well done Brian! 6am start and a stop off en route at a large supermarket to pick up some lunch. Definitely do this as you don't really have long to eat at the restaurant in the park. The journey was comfortable. 15 on the mini bus. Water provided. We couldn't do the giant sequoas which was a big disappointment. I know its stated on the info that it's not always open in March but being advised day before would have alleviated the disappointment. So if this is a must for you then don't go until after April to ensure no snow or ice closes the path. We got extra time at each of the waterfalls and obviously saw el Capitan and the campers halfway up! Plus the dome and a bear!!!! Brian had a game on the journey guessing times of arrival etc...bit of fun to keep us occupied. The dvd information films were excellent and the information that Brian imparted was brilliant. He was a fab guide with a lot of knowledge. We got some great photos and there was even a proposal at the dome! With Brian on hand to catch the moment! He took some great photos of us on his phone and emailed them to us the next day! On the return journey we asked him to stop off for something to eat at Wendys which he kindly did. All in all a great day trip whilst in San Francisco!
