We had a great experience with Best Bay Area Tours. Phil, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the park and clearly had significant experience with the weather there. He guided us to all the right spots so we could get the best views and best pictures. Weather wasn't the greatest on our day but he persevered and we were able to get some pretty views and pictures in the end. He even set up a telescope so we could get a better view than a speck of the group from Argentina that was on El Capitain camping thousands of feet in the air against the face of the mountain. On the way, he had some unique theme based playlists and helped pass the time periodically with current & historical information on San francisco, the bridges, central valley, gold mining, and the park itself. Fascinating. On the way back he played the documentary Free Solo, an amazing look at Alex Honnold, the only person to ever free solo El Capitain. It was a long day, but a great day - well worth the trip! Thanks Phil and Best Bay Area Tours for a memorable experience. - Joel

Amazing! Brian (our tour guide) was fantastic. He messaged in advance to arrange pick up & helped me find the best hotel to make my way to, and was superb throughout. Having been tour guiding this trip for 9 years, his clear love of the Yosemite National Park shines through. Brian is definitely the font of all Yosemite knowledge! There were really interesting videos played to pass the long journey time - 4 hrs each way. But honestly it flew by with the films & other info provided. The park itself is just gorgeous. There are several stops, depending on time of year. We couldn’t see the Giant Seqoias because that area is closed in winter, but just gives me (another!) reason to go back. And there is time to get a little walk in during the main stop when you can explore - managed a 4 mile loop with time to spare. I took lunch & snacks but there was a stop on way at a Safeway (this may change depending on route - no sure) & plenty of food at main lunch stop in park. Such a beautiful place, which has to be seen to be believed. Don’t miss this one. :)

We originally didn’t plan to go to Yosemite on this trip to SF, it was a last minute decision. But what a wonderful treat it turned out to be! Except for missing the Sequoia trees due to closure of some sections of the park, we were able to hit all the highlights of Yosemite. We were in awe with so many breathtaking views, and even had time to do some hiking. Brian, our guide did a wonderful job in sequencing different points of interests based on time of day for best photo opps. He was professional, courteous, thoughtful and so knowledgeable. I particularly enjoyed the park history and climbing documentaries Brian showed on the way there. He was our resident climber tour guide. It really helped us appreciate the park even more. Well planned!
