I run a Tour Company myself in the UK, so I made sure I chose the best company for my only available day in Yosemite. Phil is a great Driver/Guide/DJ and all round lovely chap, who despite the challenges of Snow Storms and a group of mixed ages and walking abilities, made sure everyone got to see Yosemite in a way that suited them. When I am back in SF I will certainly be taking one of their other tours in to Wine Country and a repeat visit to Yosemite! Totally recommend Best Bay Area Tours.

Yosemite and Giant Sequoias was our first ever guided tour and what an amazing experience it was. Aside from the breathtaking beauty of nature and the parks we had an AMAZING tour guide/chauffeur - ALBERTO. He is truly an all-around experienced guide. He was timely, manner-able, friendly, respectful, a great conversationalist and diplomat (he knows how to guide conversations to keep everyone upbeat and objective), was very mindful of when and where to stop, rest stops and places to eat. Additionally, his knowledge of the area and history brought a depth to the experience that was truly enriching. He was also so willing to take pictures, so guests could be a part of the beautiful landscape photos. And the various places we stopped were absolutely breathtaking. He said our tour covered maybe 2% of the parks and areas and withal we saw so many different places - all absolutely stunning. Finding and watching climbers scale El Capitan was so awesome as well. Both my husband and I had a wonderful time and highly recommend this tour; it was an all-around, 5 star plus experience.
