This was a awesome trip. They picked my daughter and I up at our hotel at 6am. After a few more stops picking other people up we headed out across the Bay bridge for approximately a four hour drive to the park. You stop about two hours out at a rather large grocery store to use the restroom, grab coffee and some breakfast. If your smart you’ll grab a deli sandwich and a drink for the park so you don’t waste any unnecessary time at the park. You can nibble on the bus or at any of the stops you’ll make throughout the day. The huge Redwoods are awesome but it’s about a mile walk in each direction with it being uphill coming out. You don’t have to be in great shape but you will be a little winded coming up. You also have enough time to take a couple breaks on the way up. Bridalveil falls are beautiful as well as the sights of El Capitan and Half Dome. Our tour guide Mike is a photographer by trade with Yosemite being his favorite place for his trade so not only was he very knowledgeable, he was friendly, polite and prompt. He went the extra yard for us all day long. It’s a long day. We got back to our hotel approximately 7:30 pm but it was all well worth it and I’d do it again!!! Enjoy.

I came to San Francisco to visit my friend and while she was working I thought I'd take advantage of all the touristy things. I found this tour on Trip Advisor with lots of great reviews and it suited me as I'm not a camper and seeing Yosemite in one day suited me. Brian the tour guide and driver got in touch with me a few days before the trip to make sure I had his number, email, confirmed where and when he was picking me up and let me know what the van would look like so I'd easily be able to spot it. I arrived at Parc 55 Hilton Hotel at 6.10am and Brian pulled up within a few seconds which was ideal. On the way up to Yosemite Brian let us know what our plan was and was really informative about Yosemite. The tour was well planned and well timed. I felt like we saw lots of Yosemite and had a great day. The small tour group size worked perfectly for getting to places quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this tour especially to travellers on their own.

The day is long but worth it! Phil was very pleasant and informative and was able to make sure we saw a lot of the highlights of the Yosemite Valley. The weather was sunny, which made everything much more pleasant. Despite a good number of stops (eight I think), we never felt rushed. There was plenty of food/drink and bathroom breaks. There were 9 of us on the tour. We sat in the front row of seating and had lots of leg room and space. The customized music playlists throughout the day and a screening of a documentary on free solo climbing during the ride home were extras that made the trip that much better. Just be prepared for a long day (14 hours)!
