Small Group Yosemite and Giant Sequoias Day Trip from San Francisco

Overview
Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.

Our vans only take 15 passengers, so we are able to stop at more places with less time for loading and unloading of passengers.

Brilliant trip. Guide was really knowledgable and we stopped at all of the great views. Only downside was that we paid the premium price to see the sequoia trees but didn’t get to see them due to ice on the ground. If we had known this we would have booked the cheaper day trip which left them out. Otherwise it was a brilliant day! If we could go back and do it again we’d do it in 2 days rather than one to fit in more hiking!

Brilliant day from start to end. Would have been nice to know that the Sequoia trees aren’t always accessible in the winter as there is also a slighter cheaper day trip which misses these out, so the fact we didn’t get to see them yet paid the premium price was a little annoying. Other than that the day trip was brilliant, all the stops were spectacular and our guide Phil was brilliant at keeping us informed with nuggets of knowledge and stories from the moment he collected us from the hotel, all the way to the park and back again. Brilliant day! Our only regret is not doing it over 2 days to fit in more hiking.

The tour guide had great knowledge of the area and also displayed interesting films about the history. Would love to do again with the red wood included as it was shut when we went.
