We had a wonderful day on our tour to Yosemite National Park. Our tour guide, Joe was prompt and messaged us to keep us alerted for his arrival at our hotel. He was full of interesting stories and his playlist was perfect. He also sent us his playlist after the tour. Really cool! Yosemite was breathtaking! Full of snow and beauty. My review of this trip is only a 4 star review, because this tour is the same price for whatever time of year you travel. However, this time of year drastically reduces what is available to be seen, due to many road closings in the park. I would have been more disappointed if I had not asked specifically beforehand about seeing the redwoods and giant sequoias. The itinerary does not reflect what is available during the winter. The name of the tour definitely doesn’t reflect what will be seen! The park is stunning and something majestic to see, but the price of this tour is the same all year, although many of the sites that are afforded to those who travel outside of winter are not shown to those who traveled in January. We had to hike and find our own sites in the valley for 3 hours, and even many of those sites were hazardous or closed due to snow and ice. I would still recommend this company. The Mercedes van was excellent and very comfortable. Our tour only included 7 passengers, so we were very comfortable. The stops for snacks and bathroom breaks were well chosen. My only suggestion is the tour package wording should be more forthcoming regarding the lack of “tour guided” activities and the price should be discounted during winter for these reasons. You won’t be sorry you visited Yosemite, but you may be disappointed if you’re unaware of what the tour will actually be during the winter. I suggest they be more clear and change the itinerary and the tour title during the winter.

The tour was very well organized from pick up to drop off at the hotel. Brian is awesome at his work. He took care of small things and made our journey both smooth and fun. The choices of spots are also good given what weather permits on your tour day. I recommend this tour.

The tour made several significant stops and gave plenty of time to either take pictures or to walk about and explore. The guide was friendly, helpful, and informative. His driving when changing music on his phone could use a little more care. We drifted across lanes several times and were lucky to not have an accident. Would recommend even at this expensive price but tip at your discretion. The suggested 20% seems VERY excessive.

We are very glad that you enjoyed your day with us in the park. We are very careful on the road and will definitely speak with the driver regarding his attentiveness when changing music. Tipping is not common outside the US. The suggested 20% is just a guideline for those unfamiliar with the custom. Like your waiter at restaurant, 20% is a suggested common baseline for a day that hopefully you will remember for the rest of your life.
